Who's in the lab

  • Mike McGinty
    Mike is Groove's Creative Director. He began his career as a copywriter 15 years ago in Atlanta. He is the tidiest person in the lab, and always rinses his test tubes before replacing them in the rack.
  • Rainey Straus
    Rainey is Groove's Design Director. She’s one part mad scientist and 2 parts artist in residence. You’ll often find her testing out the usability of designs on unsuspecting lab rats. Please note, no animals were harmed in the creation of these concepts.
  • Tito Chazo
    Tito is a designer at Groove. He is sometimes overheard yelling out obscene statements in Bold and very rarely in Italic. At Groove, he is sometimes known as the "Cleaner," even though he doesn't like being called that. But it's true . . . it's true.
  • Todd Hedgpeth
    Todd is a graphic designer for Groove. He has been a practicing designer for over 10 years. He hopes to one day (late at night) sneak out of the lab and paint the town red (preferably PMS 185).
  • Brian Leonard
    Brian is a creative lead at Groove who toils away each day slaving over a hot keyboard and relaxes in the lab at night by directing Petri dish-dwelling organisms in reenactments of famous Hollywood movies. (His “Citizen Spore” is a classic.)
  • Leslie Turnbull
    When not blogging, Leslie spends her time in pursuit of two things of paramount importance to her: Great examples of business strategy and its seamless implementation in the marketplace, and great examples of fashion accessories and their seamless integration into her wardrobe.
